Description

Have you been looking for makeup classes and have not found the right place? Look no longer! Our Studio is the place to be! Our course is structured with an in-depth lecture, makeup lessons and hands-on training. Our instructor is extremely knowledgeable in the Makeup Artistry industry. Please read the course description below for further details on this course.

The students will learn the following:

Introduction to Makeup Artistry

Properly setup a professional and sanitary workspace and make-up station
Identify bone structure, skin tone, skin condition, coloration, imperfections and the positive and the negative aspects of the face
Identify skin undertones and shades
Properly match and apply base

Corrective Makeup

Properly apply concealers to correct negative colors and blemishes in as thin an application as possible

Sculpting with Contour and Highlighting Techniques

Properly highlight and shadow two-dimensional objects to look like three-dimensional objects
Identify natural shadows on the face and properly apply highlight to correct those shadows
Correct the nose shape using shadow and highlight with cream and powder products
Properly apply highlight and shadows for the cheekbone and jaw line

Eye Makeup Application

Correct eyebrows using the classic eyebrow theory and graphs
Correct the various eye shapes with highlight and shadow.
Properly apply the four Classic eyeliner positions. The student will be able to do the point-to-point method with: cake liner (wet applied), powder, pencil, and creams
Properly curl eyelashes and apply mascara
Properly apply false eyelashes

Mastering the Lips

Properly apply lip color, including how to load the brush and use the point-to-point method to apply the color
Correct lips using pencils and lip colors
Cleaning and sharpening the edges using concealer and brush

Beauty Makeup

Apply a 100% corrective make-up flawlessly

Fashion Makeup

Properly layer eye shadow and create dramatic looks

The course is a total of 6 sessions, 4 hours each course for a total of 24 hours. At the completion of the course, we provide a Certificate which can be utilized to obtain discounts at major makeup stores.

Price includes materials fee. The material fee charged only covers basic brushes, handouts and the use of makeup in our studio. Students have the option of purchasing a make-up kit in our studio and/or they will receive a 20% discount for anything that they would like to purchase.

Students must wear all black clothing and comfortable shoes. Casual black clothing is fine. Sandals and open toe shoes are not allowed. Students are encouraged to bring a notebook, pen and an open-mind.

Refund Policy

We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Deposits and/or payments will be refunded or applied to another class upon request to [email protected], one week prior to the class.

Deposits ($50 minimum required) are non-refundable, no exceptions. Students have up to 3 days prior to the first day of class to withdraw to receive a refund for additional payments made. For example, if a $50 deposit and a payment of $100 were made, the student will forfeit the $100 payment.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
