Students who have taken classes at Free Form Vessels generally have positive feedback. They mentioned that the instructors were friendly, and professional, and enjoyed teaching. The classes provide a real introduction to glass blowing, allowing students to create paperweights and bowls. Students feel that the classes are worth the money and travel. The instructors are supportive of all skill levels and students can create three pieces during the course. While some students feel that the class is too long and expensive for the amount of actual glass interaction they receive, others appreciate the hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn the basics of blowing and pulling glass. Insightful quotes: 1. "In this 5-hour class you are interacting with glass for a total of maybe 10/15 minutes... too much time is spent sitting around. For $220, I would expect a lot more time with the glass." 2. "The instructors are really doing most of the work." 3. "Our 2nd project was a candy dish, and when it broke, the instructor didn't care to help me out or offer to do another one." These quotes highlight the concern some students have regarding the limited time spent working with the glass in comparison to the cost of the class, as well as the lack of support from certain instructors when issues arise. Despite these criticisms, there are still students who express their gratitude and enjoyment for the classes, thanking their teachers for a wonderful experience.
