What you'll learn in this baking class:

Up your at-home sweets game and bake like a pro!

This class is perfect for anyone who loves to bake but might still be intimidated by more advanced techniques. 

Students will make the ultimate yellow cake with Swiss buttercream, apply pâte a bombe in a peanut butter semifreddo, and turn out perfect chocolate souffles.

Refund Policy

When you register for a class, you agree to these terms:

  • You may request to cancel your ticket for a full refund, up to 72 hours (3 days) before the date and time of the event. 
  • Cancellations between 25-72 hours before the event may be transferred to a different date/time of the same class. 
  • Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the class date/time may not receive a refund nor a transfer.
  • Our classes are transferrable, so feel free to send a friend if you can’t make it!
  • In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Does this class touch upon to any extent some of the “science” behind baking? Eg. As the balance and sequence of ingredients, temperatures and duration of baking to achieve desired results? (Ie if you were to create a recipe)

Hi Bridget! Yes, they will indeed be going over those scientific elements of baking -- though the concept of creating a recipe, in particular, is not addressed in the curriculum. However, the instructor is a very experienced pastry chef and is available for any and all questions on the subject.
