What you'll learn in this kids karate class:
Learn the traditional Japanese with Isami Shiroma, a certified JKA (Japan Karate Association ) instructor.
No Kumite (fighting). Focus on Kata (form).
About Traditional Karate:
There are many characteristics of Karate as a Japanese movement culture, charm, but there are the traditional "type" in one of them. Lore excellent own called "type", the Japanese have inherited the "heart" and "tricks" by learning how. Karate "type" are those that play alone, regardless of ability or physical fitness, age, sex, congenital qualities of each individual ability that everyone has now, to practice at your own pace and according to the strength I can. This is one of the great features of karate not in other martial arts.
By the practice a "type", and move almost equally harmonizing mind and body, before and after the body, left and right, up and down. And that will not be used much in the movement of normal, in order to take full advantage of even the muscles, it becomes systemic movement ideal for children of childhood, prompting the growth of the body balanced. Also, the fact that you understand correctly this "type", to practice seriously, we are able to cultivate the ability to concentrate.
Note: There is an additional initiation fee which includes insurance of $40 for the year. Visitor's fee is $20 a class.

Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least 3 business days in advance of the class will be honored with a refund less a 5% nonrefundable registration fee.
- Students who cancel less than 3 business days prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.
- No credit/refund if cancellation is made less than 1 business day before class time.
For Japanese Flower Arrangement: Ohara Ikebana Classes by HANADOJO:
- The class sign up deadline is 3 business days before the class begins.
- Cancellation after this period will NOT be refunded.
For Japanese Flower Arrangement: Misho Ikebana class:
- The class sign up deadline is 2 business days before the class begins.
- Cancellation after this period will NOT be refunded.
For Japanese Ink Painting (Sumi-e):
- The class sign up deadline is 1 business day before the class begins.
- Cancellation after this period will NOT be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
