What you'll learn in this stand up comedy class:
Write and develop your first five minutes of comedy material with Magnet’s improv infused stand-up comedy class! In this one-evening elective class you’ll learn how a joke gets made from amusing idea to a gut-busting stage bit.
An infusion of improv games selected to work your writing chops and get you prepared to own the stage by yourself, combined with writing and feedback makes this class the Magnet Theater approach to stand-up. Whether you dream of headlining at clubs or just nailing your best man speech, this class is for you!

It’s rare, but in the event that the school must cancel or reschedule a class, enrolled students will be notified of any rescheduling by either email or phone, or both.
