I'm planning to bring my partner to this class, so is the dance a duet?

Hi Mathangi! You can bring your partner, the instructor always request classmates to "switch partners" for every move they teach so that everybody gets a chance to dance with a different partner for all the moves they learn in the class. Hope this helps.

I would like to sign up for beginners salsa but I’m not available on Saturdays at that time! I see other classes for beginners are being offered but it says you learn “Mambo”. What is the difference? I would like to learn salsa only

Hi there! Salsa and Mambo do not differ so much. Salsa can be danced on either one or two (musically); Mambo is only danced on two, but New York salsa is danced on two. If you're looking to learn salsa, Learn to Dance Salsa ("on two") or Mambo is the best form in NYC :)

I enjoyed the class! The pace of the class was just right, not too slow and not too fast. I learned a lot in 1 hour. And the instructor is very helpful to each student.

This class was great! The instructor really knew what she was doing. The only thing is there was only 1 instructor not 2, and for a complete beginners class could have used a little more personal instruction.
