Edith Grossman

Edith Grossman is best known for her translation of Gabriel García Márquez’s Love in the Time of Cholera and her universally acclaimed translation of Cervantes’ Don Quixote. She received the PEN/Ralph Manheim Medal for Translation for her lifetime achievement in the field, a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Queen Sofía Spanish Institute Translation Prize and induction into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
