Throughout this course, you'll explore verb tenses that feature more straightforward conjugation patterns, enabling you to express your ideas with greater specificity and nuance. You'll begin by examining the practical applications of the imperfect tense, followed by a detailed analysis of how the preterit and imperfect tenses contrast with each other. Following this foundation, you'll delve into the past perfect tense, known in Spanish as "el pluscuamperfecto," and investigate the passive voice construction. The course concludes with comprehensive coverage of the future and conditional tenses, including their conjugation patterns and the various contexts in which they are used appropriately.

Upon successfully completing Spanish 7, you'll develop the ability to discuss past events with considerably greater accuracy and precision, and you'll be able to articulate probability and make conjectures using the future and conditional tenses in authentic, natural ways.

• You will need to choose either a printed textbook (which requires advance pickup before the class begins) OR a PDF version of the textbook for your course materials.
