This introductory course is meant as a starting point for individuals that are familiar and have experience with the injection molding process.
The class will provide background on how the injection molding process is simulated within Autodesk Moldflow Insight, and what is important to consider to achieve high fidelity results. The user will be introduced to Synergy, the user interface of Autodesk Moldflow Insight, the different solver technologies (Midplane, Dual Domain, Full 3D), and how to get the model ready for analysis.
Finally, potential analysis workflows for analyzing the injection molding process, or optimizing part design will be introduced. The class will have instructor and self-guided exercises.
