  • Wood Burn a Charcuterie Board

    Anonymous review on 1/24/2024
This was GREAT! Wasn't sure how this would work as a virtual class but it was terrific. Instructions were clear, materials easy to use, the 'pinning' feature on Zoom allowed us to see detailed demonstration better than if in-person, and a group of us were able to take this class together in spite of being apart.

Virtual Charcuterie Classes

Virtual charcuterie classes differ from in-person classes. If individuals prefer to work at home or the office, there is no reason to fret about a potentially lengthy commute or gas prices. Although it is typically required that individuals provide their own materials for virtual classes, instructors provide the necessary supply list in advance.

Although there aren't any virtual charcuterie classes, other related classes are available. Knife Skills 101 is a $50 class that teaches individuals about choosing, storing, sharpening, and using a chef's knife. The course also allows practice with the newly learned knife skills by guiding individuals through cooking a vegetable minestrone soup.

Another available course is Hot Sauce Making. Individuals age twelve and older of all levels learn to make hot sauce in a fun and interactive way. The course provides participants with their hot sauce kits and teaches them how to make two types of hot sauce with quality chili peppers.
