Class Description

Description Cancellation Policy

Description

This class is for students who have either completed Ukulele from Scratch or who are confident beginners or advanced beginners/intermediate. You should be able to tune your uke and play a few chords but may be still struggling to change chords confidently and while keeping steady time.

The goal of this class will be to give you the tools to learn new songs more easily and play them with authority. We will work on repertoire and will help you to develop the skills needed to learn new songs and play with fellow ukulele or music enthusiasts.

You will need a ukulele and a tuner.

Recommended: a strap and the book The Daily Ukulele. If you do not have any of these items let us know and we can help you purchase them.

Refund Policy

  • Full refund less 5% cancellation fee or full credit for another session of classes are available until 4 business days before your 1st class begins.
  • If you cancel your registration 2 business days before your 1st or 2nd class begins, a partial prorated school credit can be given.
  • If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no credit is available.

The school reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration.

If the school cancel a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will be notified by email and/or phone before the class start date, and we will issue school credit. If you would like a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a refund. In the event of a canceled class, we would love to help you find an alternate instrument to learn!

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

    The course was small and intimate and the teacher was very patient. Jalopy is a wonderful neighborhood music school that is truly unique. I'd love to explore music of a different genre, but I think that comes later :)

    Teacher was not awesome and I didn't feel like the class was challenging or that the teacher cared about us learning. We just did the same thing over and over again.
