Have you been trying to pick up piano by yourself and know the basics or maybe you had a few lessons before and now would like to continue learning? Have you been playing piano as a child and think it's time to come back to it? Do you feel like you have forgotten everything and must start from scratch again? Not so fast – you still "got it" and Piano II class will help you to get back all chops you used to have. Piano II class will also help you to get to the next level if you already have some basic knowledge and skill on piano.
This is how the whole thing works:You will be sent with the information-only package that includes all you need to know to take part in the class. When you come to the class, even if you just had read through the initial material, you will be able to follow and to sit in immediately. No need to be scared or to feel overwhelmed: we will do exercises to apply the information and then move on to practicing tunes. While it might feel scary the first time, you will easily pick up because we will address your needs at your current level. At the same time you will be able to learn from others in the group.
Requirements to join this class:- You should have daily access to a piano or an e-piano/ keyboard for practicing.
- You should be aware that you will need to carve out time in your schedule for a daily practice routine (I recommend somewhere between 30-60 minutes daily, at least 5 days a week for someone who is an advanced beginner or is getting their chops back).
Recommended preparation:While you will receive the information-only package before joining this class, if you feel very insecure about what you know or what you remember, I would suggest that you attend Beginning Piano Weekend Crash Course because in this crash course we will go through the groundwork from scratch — that's right, in one day you will remember it all and will know 100% that you know what you need to know to do great at your Piano II class!
