The wine and food were great. However, the food portion was small compared to the other class I took here. The gumbo was so delicious, I would have liked a bit more of it!
-
Honestly having an instructor with one year of experience is not what I expected. Trying to teach people red wine varieties with a bunch of blends is silly. An hour class with a total of about 2 glasses of $20 wine is not worth $75.

We were guided through a wide variety of very interesting wines that greatly expanded our horizon.
The setting was wonderful in the cozy wine cellar. The table was set with many small dishes of excellent food, however feel free to eat a small dinner before.
If you are thinking of impressing a date with this class, I'd recommend saving it for a third or fourth date as you're going to be sitting together with other people and there's not a lot of time for small talk. This is a class, so make room for romance after, not during.
-
wine was good - i enjoyed 3 out 4 and im not a wine guy. i even got buzzed. free refills. the pizza was great - crazy if u think otherwise. teacher was good. people at my table incredibly nice. very good experience on mother's day. would also be a great date.

It was fun Sunday! Loved the cheese and red wine pairings the most! Definitely going back!
-
The woman who lead the class was very good and knowledgable. I now know more about wines in general.
However, the pizza was simply not good and their was no emphasis on the pizza portion of the class. The pizza was made in regular ovens at temps that "real" pizza would never be prepared in. It was clear the people cooking the pizza had no idea what they were doing behind preparing some unpleasant combinations.
We were very disappointed with this part of the class.
The class also was really only 1.5 hours, not 2 as advertised.

The class was a wonderful intro into French wines. Our sommelier was very knowledgable and friendly. We can't wait for our next class!!
-
I loved the class, I learned a lot & had a great time doing so. My only complaint is that the instructor was unable to explain in a simple way. He clearly new his stuff, however he used a lot of jargon.
-
Good instructor. Nice wines but would like to be in the wine cellar for the price we paid
-
Charles was very knowledgeable and the wines were very good. Our class was held on the 2nd level, which is the artists' studio. It does not have the ambience of the cellar. For the cost of the class, I would expect better atmosphere.
-
Nothing was taught regarding pairing with Korean BBQ but the food was decent.
-
Chef Ryan gave a ton of insight in a fun and laid back way, with jokes, anecdotes and personal preferences to learn more about wine and the food that fits with it.
-
The sommelier was very knowledgeable and engaging. I wish there had been more of an emphasis on red wine - there were 5 types of white wine and only one red wine. The cheeses were excellent, however, and the proportions decent.
-
Great introduction to the world of wine. Easy to follow and I learned so much!
-
I felt they it was more a tasting session to sell you the wines ... I was looking for something more formal like the basics of wine...
-
The class was intimate and enjoyable. Our instructor was extremely down to earth and truly helped us to better understand the world of wine. Moreover, the wine was flowing and the food was absolutely delicious (on par if not superior to NYC's best restaurants).
I would certainly recommend the class!

Amazing class! We had so much fun. Eric was awesome. Will definitely recommend this to friends and visitors.
-
Eric (our "som") was not only entertaining, but very knowledgable. Very recommendable! Take good notes! It will be worth your while.
-
wonderful evening! Our som was knowledgeable and engaging. Great venue and interesting wines.
-
Learned how to better describe what I like in a wine--great practical info! I will definitely be doing another class with them.
