Alyson Schacherer

Teaches at The Barrow Group Acting School

In addition to being an actor, director and teacher, Alyson Schacherer is the Business Manager for The Barrow Group. She last performed in FAST & FAB with TBG’s FAB Women and directed Christopher Shinn’s Dying City at TBG. Other NY credits include: “Darktime in Skipland” (The Brick), “No Act” (Living Image Arts). Also, “Sweet Perfume”, “Power Failure”, “The Office” and Scorefest (a piece she later directed at Disney’s Redcat with The Code International) all at The Barrow Group. She is a member of FAB Women, a collective of over 100 female artists who create and produce work For, About and By Women and an emcee for many NYC events. She is an auctioneer; founder of The I Love You Project which screenprints shirts that say “I love you”, sells them and donates the proceeds to charity; and teaches yoga.
