Chelsea Kronick

Teaches at Brooklyn Craft Company

Chelsea, a Brooklyn native, got her first puppy and took her first horseback riding lesson the summer she turned seven and her passion for animal welfare and enrichment grew from there. She found her calling volunteering as an animal educator for various urban outreach programs. She studied Psychology and Animal Behavior at Hampshire College and her undergraduate thesis focused on Animal Assisted Therapy and human-animal communication.

Chelsea has previously worked as a dog trainer, kennel manager, horse trainer and horseback riding instructor and loves the way that positive reinforcement can revolutionize the way both animals and people learn. She especially loves teaching children about animals and finding creative solutions for training challenges. She has also worked to rehabilitate and find forever homes for several highly reactive foster dogs in the past. Chelsea shares her home with the canine love-of-her-life, a Japanese Chin named Tribble and two cats named Miss Fortune and Norma-Jean.
