Ji Sun Lee

Ji Sun Lee, Geeky mom, travels often between Korea to New York City to pursue her passions for new media artwork and unique interactive experiences for diverse users. She earned her master’s degree at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU and ph.d in Interaction Design at Seoul National University. She has worked for Samsung Electronics, Yahoo! and Open Tide Consulting Co. as a user interface and interaction designer. Her rect ent projects range from mobile app development to data visualization. Mosrecently, she presented her works at the Maker Faire 2015 and 2016 in California and staged a solo show at MediaNoche gallery in New York. She is a professor in the department of Visual Media Design at Sookmyung Women's University in Korea. Her TechDIY project was inspired by the perky curiosities of her adorable 5th grade girl, Hannah Kim, and everyday happenings.
