It was great, I went with my spouse and we had a great time! They even have snacks and finished with bubbly

I have been to the other studios in the past but this by far has been the best experience. The studio owner, Elizabeth Ann, was a consummate professional; and arranged this class to accommodate my schedule. She was present during the class and would expand on points with her expertise. Macy, our instructor was wonderfully attentive- patient, kind, knowledgeable, and has a real strength working with silver novices. I especially appreciate her attention to detail, and ensuring our final product was complete to our liking. The studio was filled with light, the atmosphere was welcoming and overall my Mother's Day gift was enjoyed by both myself & my mother. Our rings came out beautifully- the whole process, start to finish, exceeded my expectations. Will be returning for more- thank you for all.

We had so much fun at this class. Totally hands-on. You do everything in the making of a ring. EVERYTHING! In 2 1/2 hours, my husband and I created two silver rings - each original and one of a kind. Perfect? No, but the imperfections are part of what makes them special. We have bragging rights now in having crafted rings as a fun date. The snack and prosecco were a wonderful surprise treat as well. Macy and Elizabeth were wonderful instructors.
The only reason I gave this 4 stars is to offer a suggestion that while doing the practice stamping, you have the copper sheet to try out the stamps, but maybe also have a practice sheet the size of the actual ring. This would have allowed us to practice the actual design before moving onto the silver.

Class was great and it ended up just being the two of us who came together. It was a little bit fast paced for an indecisive person who didn’t know what exactly they wanted their ring to look like but for most people it would probably be totally fine especially if you gave a little bit of thought ahead of time. You can put stamps/letters/numbers inside your ring if you want to, which gave us another thing to decide on, so it’s something you might want to think about in advance. And our rings came out pretty well! Elizabeth the instructor/owner was very informative and nice!

Elizabeth Tokely was kind, patient and attentive. She went at my pace, worked with me and really gave me skills that I will use for the rest of my jewelry making life. Wire wrapping is a slow process that requires skill, patience and precision. I walked out knowing how to use a bracelet mandrel, the right way to file the edges of sterling silver wire (I didn’t know you file in one direction, not back and forth like a fingernail), and how to wrap without using so much pressure which pulls your hoop apart. I ended up with a lovely pair of sterling silver earrings wrapped with two kinds of gemstones! Normally I pull stuff apart and re-use the materials, but not these…they are lovely and I wear them. I can formally call myself a “Maker” now. I will be signing up for another of Elizabeth’s classes when I have time off during the week!

Eatmetal is in the cutest little neighborhood in an industrial section of Hoboken. Parking is difficult, so go early. There are several shops to pass the time while waiting for your class to start. You can eat, shop or sit outside and people watch while waiting. The studio is in building E (the nice owner of the bridal shop told me where to enter), so make sure to bring the email with location info with you.
The studio is a beautiful, sunny space with a station for each student. There were a few other students there and we were all working on different things, but somehow our instructor made it all feel very intimate and easy. The girl who sat next to me turned out work at the same hospital that I do!! Tiny world! Anyway, I made a lovely pair of crystal and pearl silver hoop earrings using skills that I’ll use on other jewelry projects. I will definitely be back while the weather is warm!

Like this course, very entertaining and the instructor is super helpful and friendly

The class itself was good. I took a star off because there were absolutely no instructions on how to find the location, and it's not obvious.
-
Excellent!
-
Step by step instructions kept everything moving along. You were given plenty of time to work out your design. The teacher was patient and the class was interesting. Taking home your own design to wear was great.

This class was great! Elizabeth and brandy were both so sweet and so helpful. Definitely recommend it!
-
This class was right on with what was advertised and presented. Additional ear styles were also available, loops, rectangular plate, or circular. My wife and I equally enjoyed the class. The pace was acceptable and never felt rushed. We were also not left standing around idle. We would go to other classes that are offered.

We had a great time and learned a great deal. Elizabeth was a great teacher and a lot of fun! Will definitely return!

We loved it and will more than likely be repeat students
-
Fabulous hands-on class. Elizabeth is a wonderful teacher who gives individual guidance and makes sure that everyone walks away with a ring they love!
-
Well organized, well taught, and had a fantastic time!

The class was great! Elizabeth was a really good instructor and gave everyone all the attention that they needed. I would highflying recommend this class and instructor!

Elizabeth was wonderful to work with! Both my girlfriend and I have zero experience with any type of metalwork and she guided us through making these wonderful textured rings. We had so much fun! Definitely a unique experience and one we would definitely repeat! The only issue was finding parking, but that's hoboken for you.
