What you'll learn in this milonga class:

Description:

While Tango is the sophisticated, elegant and intense dance, milonga is the opposite. Like the "merenge" quick step. Is rhythmical, naughty and fun. The milonga is necessary as a part of the repertoire for the social dance. You must try this!

This is a four week program, focusing on a different concept each week. Classes are 1 hour 15 minutes long.

Level 1 Program:

The rhythm and its combinations. Learn how play around with the 1-2 rhythm. Feet, legs and embrace technique. Basic patterns and walking systems, exercises to connect with your partner. Navigation on the floor.

No partner necessary but encouraged to ensure leaders and followers are equally balanced.
Everyone leads and everyone follows. Gender is not attached to the dance role.
Bring comfortable clothes and shoes. Not sure about shoes, bring socks
